Regular maintenance of your vehicle also includes making sure the fluid levels are always topped off. If there is an issue with a fluid being low, often, you will notice it. Having a fluid level decrease quickly can be a sign of a crack or damage under the hood. When you notice this, schedule an appointment so we can inspect the vehicle and issue as soon as possible. Even a small leak will eventually become larger. Ignoring it will only make it worse, and you will end up spending more because you will have to replace the fluid more often than you otherwise should.

The oil will lubricate the engine and help it to operate smoothly. Without oil, the parts will wear against one another and it can lead to the engine seizing up completely. When this happens, the engine fails, and will end up being a costly repair bill. So it is always best to take a few extra minutes to make sure the vehicle has oil. Do not rely on the dashboard light that indicates low oil. Sometimes they do not work, and you will do more damage to the engine.

Other Fluids

Besides the oil, the other fluids should be inspected. This includes the brake fluid, transmission fluid, and even windshield washer fluid. Without brake fluid, you will notice the brakes will not engage properly to stop. Any grinding under the hood could be a result of a low fluid level. It is recommended to have an extra container of oil and windshield washer fluid in the back of your vehicle. That way if you run low, you can add more in without trying to find a store to buy some. This is especially beneficial if you drive late at night or early in the morning. You can also bring the vehicle in and we can check all the fluid levels as well.
