Brake Repair

Why am I hearing a grinding noise when I stop…….

This type of noise usually indicates you have a worn out brake pad or pads. Continued driving will result in further damage and is dangerous. Call Bonfe’s and schedule a brake inspection.

Why am I hearing a high pitched squealing noise at slow speeds…..

A high pitched squealing noise is normally an indication of a brake pad or pads that have worn to the point where replacement is necessary.  The noise is a warning.   Call Bonfe’s and schedule a brake inspection.

My brake pedal seems to be traveling closer to the floor……

More than likely you have a leak in a brake line or your master cylinder.  This is a safety issue and you need to call Bonfe’s and schedule a brake inspection.

My vehicle pulls to one side when I stop…….

This problem is usually a result of a stuck caliper.  To perform properly, equal pressure should be being applied to all wheels, and a stuck caliper prevents this from occurring. Call Bonfe’s and schedule a brake inspection.
